Effective immediately, I will no longer take in saws for sharpening. Making new tools has reached the point where I no longer have the time to devote to sharpening old saws.

If you would like to send your saws out for sharpening, I can personally recommend Matt Cianci's (thesawwright.com), Joe Federici's (secondchancesawworks.com), and Marv Werner's (he goes by MarvW over at woodworkerszone.com) saw sharpening services. Daryl Weir also does top-notch work.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me saws for sharpening over the years. It was truly a pleasure to work on and bring old saws back to life.

I will still sharpen saws that I have made, and have no plans to stop doing so.
