Millers Falls No. 170 push drill

Millers Falls No. 170 push drill (10-019-001) - $7 SOLD

Like so many other Millers Falls tools, this push drill began with a classic design. But not content to slavishly copy a tried and true form, their engineers crossed new and different materials with a sleek design to come up with a fresh, bold look. In this case, nickel, aluminum, and durable plastic came together in one of the most attractive push drills ever sold. Mechanically, this drill is every bit the equal of the ubiquitious Yankee 41.

This drill takes the same notched drill points that the Yankee drills use (11/64" diameter shank). The dimensions are basically the same as a Yankee No. 41, but the handle is a little larger and I find it more comfortable. The chuck is of the newer design (pull on it to release or insert the point). Chuck has some light rust on it. The aluminum top screws off for point storage. Sorry, but this drill does NOT include any points/bits.
