This Sargent scraper features a cast iron head that swivels on the end of a wood handle. The large head is shaped to provide a comfortable and secure grip, and adds a nice heft to the tool. The blade is about 3 1/2" x 3 3/8", and has three edges at 90° to the faces, with the fourth being sharpened at about 30°.
The japanning is about 75%, and there are no cracks in the head or handle. One edge of the head has been ground to provide clearance when scraping at low angles. The handle has a couple of small flat spots at the end. This will never be the jewel of your scraper collection, but it will be an honest worker.
